Technology consulting for decisions that cost money to get wrong

Independent assessment of software you own, inherited, or are about to buy. Fixed fee, fixed duration, a written answer at the end.

  • Fixed fee
  • Written report
  • Senior engineers

Every one of these ends with a document, not a proposal

The output of a consulting engagement here is a written answer you can act on, including acting on it with somebody else. That is deliberate.

We charge for the assessment because a free assessment is usually a sales call wearing a costume, and everyone knows it. The free written read below is deliberately small: one question, answered in writing, so you can judge us before paying for anything. Paying for it means you get an honest answer rather than a flattering one, and it means we can afford to spend real senior time on your system rather than a junior running a scanner.

The fee comes back if we build it

The commercial mechanic is simple, and it is the same for every fixed-fee assessment.

  • The full assessment fee comes off your first invoice if we go on to build or take over the solution.
  • Valid for six months from the day you receive the report.
  • Applies to projects above €50,000, one time, not a running discount.
  • If you take the report to another supplier, it is yours and you owe us nothing. That happens, and it is a fair outcome.
  • So the worst case is that you paid a fixed fee for a senior, independent answer to a question that was costing you more than the fee.

Consulting for AI sits on the AI side of the business

If the question is specifically about artificial intelligence, whether it is worth doing, where to start, or whether your data can carry it, the assessment for that lives at ai.resser-solutions.com under AI readiness.

Same shape as everything here: two weeks, a fixed fee of €9,500 to €14,000, a written answer, and the fee comes off the build if we do it. The difference is what gets assessed. An AI readiness assessment looks at your data, your use cases, your GDPR and EU AI Act position and what a first build would actually cost. A technical due diligence looks at a software asset as a whole.

We keep them separate because the buyers are different. One is deciding whether to start something. The other is deciding whether to trust something that already exists.
